Josh Turner To Become Opry Member
The smooth deep voice of Josh Turner has something to shout about. He received an invitation from Roy Clark on Saturday asking him to become a member of the Opry. Of course Josh said yes. Vince Gill will host the formal proceedings of his induction on October 27th. Josh was completely caught by surprise with the invitation. Ever since his debut back in 2001, he has been an Opry fave. Is anybody else surprised by this? Do you guys think it was too soon for Josh? What I don’t understand is why Josh can become a member so early in his career, and the it takes somebody like Mel Tillis(he was just recently inducted) all of his life. Does anybody else know how the process works? It sounds to me like becoming an Opry member is like trying to read the stock market. Or it could be like a huge wheel of fortune. Wherever the pointer ends that’s who gets in this week.
